How do I turn off Developer mode?

How do I turn off or more accurately, do I get back to where I was before I activated developer mode? I turned it off but want it completely out of the setting menu.

Go ahead and turn it off. Then, in the menu, select Reset to Default.

The only way to get it out of the Settings (not just turning it off) is by going to Settings, Application Manager, go to the "All" tab and look for "Settings". There, clear the data. Now, I'm not sure if this only resets the Settings 'added bonus' or if it brings back everything to the default value (i.e. system ringtone, etc.). But that's the way to get rid of it.

ALL settings will be reset. OP, just turn it off and forget about it if it is your phone. If someone in family and you are worried they will make changes, then I guess a settings reset is in your future.
