KitKat volume bugs

I am on a VZW Moto X and my volume rocker keeps getting stuck only changing "media" volume. This means I cannot use the volume rocker to adjust ringtone or notification volume. Instead I have to go into settings, sound, volumes, and then adjust the volume. There doesn't appear to be a native option to open all volume sliders aside from navigating into settings.

When rebooting the phone it defaults back to ringtone volume but once I have opened anything that uses the media volume it gets stuck again. Any ideas?

Also, I am having an issue with my Moto X and Nexus 10 when doing anything that plays sound through another device (HDMI connected to TV or Bluetooth audio in my car etc) the volume rocker is either muted or full blast. Previous versions of Android did not do that. Bug or safety attempt fail?

I am also looking for the solution and even i am facing problem in my Bluetooth media player and camera as well.

Cannot adjust the volume with my Nexus 4 on a JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker. Slider moves but no change in sound. Volume works with a Creative Bluetooth speaker though.
