Kit Kat E-mail problem

I use a telus e-mail address across my devices. On all of my devices except my Nexus 7 (2013) I can see and open picture attachments. This seems to be a problem for others but I searched for an answer here but I could not find it. I am wondering if I should reset my Nexus. As far as I know this problem arose after KitKat.

Are you saying that you can't download attachments. If so that is a big problem with KitKat.

I am surprised to find a bug in a stock email plan . It bothers me when devices do not work correctly.

The only thing I could do was to get rid of my e-mail account ( that was not easy ) on the stock e-mail program and install a e-mail App from Google Play. Pretty lame if you ask me.
