Hi

I have a HTC one m8, and just recently when trying to play music with Google music over my home WiFi network, it simply refuses to play anything. It states that there is no WiFi connection.

I've tested the WiFi connection using many other apps while my mobile data is turned off. I don't understand why I cannot play music.

I tried the following.

1. Turned the device on and off
2. Turned WiFi off then back on.
3. Looked at power settings to see if there was any extreme power modes active. There is no reference to power more anywhere.
4. Verified that I can play through Google music on WiFi only on other android ddevices also on my home network.

Any idea on what I should look at next?

Strange. How about going to Settings>Apps>All, selecting Google Play Music, and Clearing Cache and Clearing Data?
