Nexus 5 Lollipop - how do I disable the phone app at start up

Hi,

I just got the Lollipop last night and I don't like the phone starting up whenever I unlock my phone. How do I disable it?

Nevermind. I'm swiping from left to right which activates the phone icon that they've added to the bottom left corner. If I want to avoid it, I'll have to swipe down or up to unlock.

ya i had the same issue... and a member answered it here... that is such a stupid thing... i think lot of ppl swipe left to right ...and having it go to the phone is ******* dumb..ugh... this update has a ton of fail. i'm considering rolling back
