Why won't my Google Nexus 7 update from KitKat 4.4.4 to Lollipop 5.0? Please Help Me!!!

I got my update (2012 N7) yesterday. I wish I hadn't. The tablet is practically unusable. PITA to unlock; super slow; apps constantly crashing. I understand that devs will need time to update their apps, but I'm having crashes with Google products -- Launcher, Chrome. Bah!

have a 3g version and a wifi only version of the 2012 Nexus 7. Neither of them have had the update yet. :-/

Both my Nexus 5 then my mothers Nexus 5 and my fathers Nexus 5 yesterday got the update. My Nexus 7 (2013) still has nothing but it does not bother me because the way Lollipop sucks up battery life much more on my Nexus 5 I can wait as long as I want on my Nexus 7 which is running great as it is.

Why want the 5.0 version, it will destroy your N7. Research the numerous issues since the rollout began.

Me three. Absolutely hate the lollipop update. Rendered my nexus 10 unusable.

You really need to do a factory reset on the Nexus 7 after updating. It is very smooth under lollipop. My tablet runs as if brand new.

I sideloaded the update on my Nexus 7 and works great...

G should get their **** together. You shouldn't have to do a factory reset after an upgrade. I remember laughing at the crapple people when their last update was hosed. G's seems to be much worse than theirs. Seems G just doesn't care anymore.
