    Hmm, not sure. Might be an issue with the device's firmware, which might be conflicting with Google Play Services. It's hard to say with devices that aren't as common. Have you tried contacting Archos?

    Try calling their support directly at (866) 489-4718. This is the number that pops up when I do a Google search for "Archos support."
