Optimizing apps

So my nexus 4 got updated and my beweather app worked fine. It shows the temp in the notification bar.

However I just got a Moto X and upgraded the OS out of the box to lollipop then installed my apps. Now I noticed that beweather does not show the temp in the notification bar. Is there anyway of manually optimizing an app to work correctly in 5.0?

Sure - by rewriting it. Not something the user can do. You have to wait until the developer does it and releases the new update.

No it works fine on lollipop on my nexus but not on lollipop on the Moto x
