App updates

actually this pertains to 4.0 up to 4.4 and possibly prior as I never used anything prior. Why does app updates only show after the device has been restarted? all my phones have had same "only updates after device restart" thing going on

Then apparently that's a setting you have consistently set on all your phones. I've never seen that happen on any of my phones. Or on anybody else's for that matter.

The same thing has happened on my last three Note 3s and 4. I think the updates would have shown up eventually, but the reboot seems to force it to check for updates, rather than waiting for them to be pushed.
