Is it true after lollipop update google has removed albums and just left their default photos

If you mean Gallery, I think they have. (I use QuickPic, so it doesn't make any difference to me.) You can always back Gallery up to an apk file, then install it in Lollipop.

Yeah I ment gallery lol pics saving in Google's gallery cloud is better than having it in gallery. Saves more room

QuickPic is great. There is even the app on my Fire TV although it is a bit cumbersome to use using the remote but it does support cloud services like Google Drive and I was able to load pictures and videos however audio files did not work.

Yup, much prefer QuickPic - it, at least, leaves my pictures in the folders (Albums) I copied over from my computer, its easy to rename both albums and pictures within and, most importantly, doesn't try and sneak my pics over to the gaping open maw of Google+, to be assimilated into Google's rules of use.
