I rooted my phone, backed it up, and to make sure it worked I restored that backup. It said it was successful, but now I get an error message non-stop: "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped".

Every time I hit ok it pops up again within half a second. I can get that to stop by disabling google play, but I still cannot open any app. When I open an app it crashes and says "Unfortunately, [app] has stopped." Don't know what to do.

    I have an S4 SGH-I337m running 4.4.2

Try to hard reset your device and say how it goes.
