So before I upgraded to Lollipop, my Verizon S5 worked fine. Now I get messages like "Unfortunately, contacts has stopped." My apps crash (mainly Instagram), I swear the phone is slower, LightFlow no longer works and I can't customize my light colors, and I keep getting this weird message (see attachment). Can anybody help?

Thanks B.Diddy. When I try to do that I can't get it to work, my phone only starts in safe mode.

Oh, so when you try to boot into Recovery, it doesn't get there? And does it always start in Safe Mode, or only when you're trying to boot into Recovery?

Try unmounting your SD card (in Settings>Storage), removing it, and rebooting. If the card is corrupt, it might be causing some issues.

Re: hangouts... Since updating I only get heads up notifications for sms in hangouts, but nothing for true hangout messages. Any ideas?

Also, can you help me with this? My storage is crazy weird. I try to delete the miscellaneous files but they never do and they're taking up a ton of space.

And when I delete pics they just come back 😥

The pics you're deleting might be thumbnails, which just get re-created by the system, since it needs to have a database of thumbnails for the Gallery and the music apps (as well as others).

You may not be able to delete the miscellaneous files from that menu--you may have to try deleting them using a file manager app. It's possible some of those miscellaneous files are in protected directories.

I'm just trying to delete pics I've taken myself. I'll go through and individually check them and delete them and 24 hours they're back. I have sync turned off too and when I delete them it says it is deleting them from everywhere.

Still getting the IG and contacts have stopped working messages.

Still can't get LightFlow to work...

Super frustrated with this phone.

Are the photos syncing to both your Google account and your Samsung account? If it says it's deleting them everywhere, it might just mean locally and in your Google+ Photos. But if they're also syncing to your Samsung account, then they might be resyncing back.

Also, I had suggested before that you try unmounting and removing the SD card--did that help?
