After the lollipop update, all my user icons disappeared from the lock screen . And the lock screen looks different, the pass code keyboard is centered instead of being of to one side.

the user profiles are still there, but I can only switch users after logging in, which means I have to log in for any other user.

How can I get my user icons back to the log in screen?

And by the way, the update has made the Tab S really slow. I might expect this on an old tablet, but this is new and powerful, supposedly.

Lollipop has had a lot of issues that can be cleared up by doing a factory reset. This will wipe your data and apps, so you should do a backup first.

On the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, sweeping down from the top center of the lock screen opens a drop-down menu. The third icon from the upper right corner is a picture of a face. Tapping that permits selection of the user, who can then log in as normal.
