Why does the google play store not work on my China Mobile Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro?

So I have a China Mobile Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro and every since I took it out of the boxbox, the Google Play Store won't work, run, or even open on it. I've tried clearing the cache and the data and nothing has worked. I've tried countless versions of the Google Play Store from online and nothing has worked. I tried a factory reset and that didn't work either. I did a bit of research and I found out that the Z2 Pro on China Mobile doesn't support the Google Play Store but I'm not sure if this is true or not... Can someone clear this fog for me? I am on AT&T and I am running KitKat 4.4.2

It's most likely true, since there would be no reason for a phone in China to be able to access the Play Store. You might try GApps for Android.
