Trouble with receiving MMS in a group message

I have an HTC one m9 on Verizon, and my friend has a galaxy s6 on sprint. In a group message, she can't see what my messages say, they just come in as blanks. I get hers no problems, and she gets my mms in our individual conversation. And she gets everyone else's group messages, just mine are coming in blank. Any possible fixes?

I'm just guessing based on a user's post in a Verizon forum. There may be an issue if sending from the Verizon Messaging app to Sprint. See post #8 in this link:

Maybe change your messaging (texting) app?

Thanks. It seems to the be stock messaging app that I had which was the cause of the problem. When I sent group messages with message+, my friend was able to see them. Thanks for the tip! And hopefully Verizon and HTC can fix the issue so I can go back to using the stock app.

Yeah, it's not the ideal solution but what's important is that you can text again.

I saw another user in that forum report the same issue.
