As the title says, if the iPhone came to Verizon or Tmobile, would you give up your DROID or Nexus one? I was just thinking about that the other day and wondered what you guys thought.

My "new every 2" update time is August 2011. When that time comes, I'll decide, if there is an iPhone to choose. I was actually planning to move to AT&T for the iPhone last month, but learned that a move to AT&T would be a bit more costly - most of the kids' friends are Verizon, so we get tons of m2m minutes covered - so I chose the Eris instead.

I can really go either way. I have Macs, so iPhones would fit in well; I sync everything with Google, so Android works, too.

No way. iPhones are out of style. They had their time like platforms and bell bottoms.

I love how you guys shoot down the iPhone when you are clueless as to what the new one will contain.

You my friend, you are just too funny. I should put the following in my signature before this forum turns into the Crackberry forums...

I try mainly to make good comments but I'm honest about flaws too. I don't get into arguments trying to claim that there are objective reasons that make one person's phone better than another's. It's subjective. You can't win such arguments, only have a stressful life doing so.

Why would I trade up my Droid for an inferior device?

Been there done that, so NO. I don't care if the new iPhone can cook me dinner, or cut grass. I'll be looking forward to the next incarnation of the Droid.

You guys must have used a different iPhone than the ones I have. I always see word like inferior tossed around. I like Android because I like to screw around with things. If you need a phone, that does what it does with very few problems, an iPhone is very hard to beat. If the iPhone ever is offered to other carriers, you will see people flock to it in droves.

Didn't Voda sell like 60,000 of them in the first weekend? Double that number if/when it ever makes it to Verizon.

I'll have to change my mind. iPhone could come along and I couldn't care less. Why?

    It scratches too easy.

If it came to Sprint(Not that it ever will lol), not gonna lie, I'd definitely consider dropping my hero for one.

I would give up Android for the iPhone, it just fits better with my Macs.

I'd likely end up having both. Though it will really depend on what's going on at that time. If the new iphone corrects a lot of the issues it currently has (multi-tasking, customizability, etc) or if by that time the android market is bursting with crazy apps (and they can be stored/run on the SD card on the droid) then those things could make me reconsider.
