Droid Maxx went dead one day, had phone 1 yr. 2 weeks after the 1 yr warranty ran out phone went dead. tried charging it. the motorola screen comes on but it will not bring the android screen . took it to local verizon dealer, idiots. he was on the phone with motorola for 20 minutes. told us the software was obsolete. nothing they could do since warranty ran out. WTHeck. no one notified us that we needed to upgrade to kitkat. so i have a $400 phone that has a 2-yr contract on it that I cannot use. what is going on? shouldn' we have been notified? shouldn't verizon be responsible for at least some portion of this issie? help
