Why did Marshmallow make my Nexus 6 so slow?

Nexus 6 Marshmallow - slow

Hi there

I've upgraded to marshmallow, OTA about a fortnight ago. I was hoping that my phone would be less laggy (especially the camera, which takes 3-5 seconds to start). The camera now takes over 5 seconds to start, and the image on the camera even lags... some of my apps take longer to load also.

Any fixes for this?
Worst case - any way of downgrading to lolipop?

Hi, have you tried performing a factory reset on the device, I've heard many people say this helps their phone after an OTA update. Make sure your phone is totally backed up before performing the reset as it will wipe your phone.

Is there anything else I can try first though?
Dont want to have to reinstall everything unless at last resort.

You could try a Cache Partition wipe, but as the tall guy suggests, a Factory Reset is the better medicine.
