Unable to install speed dial in Marshmellow

My speed dial application no longer works since I installed marshmellow.

When I click on a picture of a contact on my home screen I keep getting the message :" the application is not installed ".
Prior to this clicking on the picture resulted in the contact being dialled.
I am using the Samsung Galaxy 6

Speed dial functionality should be built into the contact area of a Samsung phone in a contacts "edit" mode" like this button here

My phone's contact app has built in Speed Dial functionality and since I've had a Note 4 and Note 3 SammySung they do too
