I am out over 1.5 gig for the month, and several hundred megabyte this morning alone. Plus my battery is running down awful fast.

Apparently it was the Android System that was downloading so much data this morning. But I wonder if that was what was going on the rest of the month.

I tried using NetGuard to stop this but it did nothing to stop this morning's download fest. I don't know if I had Android System blocked or not.

I have read something about privacy settings and stopping android/google backup or whatever it is called, but I cannot find a backup or privacy settinga on my phone.

This is an LG G5 if that makes any difference. This month has by far been the worst data eating month I have had. I only recall one other month with this problem and that one only used 500 megs.

How do I stop this and why hasn't an app been made to track down the source of these data black holes? Many people complain about this issue. But there are so many potentiap causes.
