When I press the microphone key while on my Russian keyboard and try to speak in Russian, the text that comes out is in English. I don't get what's the problem and would like to be able to speak in Russian while composing a text message while having my hands busy, please help!

Which service are you using for voice recognition? If THAT is set to English or if it doesn't have any extra languages active, that's probably why.

Go to your Settings, Language and Input section. There should be an option for either Google Voice Typing or Samsung Voice Input on your On-Screen Keyboard options.

Google voice typing is permenantly set to automatic. Is that normal?

That's what I have mine set as as I usually type in English and Spanish. Never had an issue as long as I start with a distinct word in that language (words that are pronounced the same or similarly in both languages, dictation will usually default to English)
