Android Box won't boot???

So I tried to factory reset my android box and it froze?? I unplugged it then plugged it back in but now it just reads Android and shows the loading things moving but it's not doing anything else?? I can't get into the setting or anything all I have is a black screen that says android on it?? Do I have to hook it up to my computer and format it then load software on it?? Or is it pooched? ?
