Why does my alarm go directly into snooze mode?

My LG phones alarm does not make a sound instead it goes directly into snooze mode. How can i fix this?

Hi, does the alarm sound for any length of time then goes into snooze mode, or does it automatically go into snooze? have you tried downloading Timely from the play store, it's a great 3rd party alarm app?
