Help getting rid of spam

Hi, I recently downloaded a live wallpaper, and ever since then I keep getting a star notification on the top bar and when I open it it takes me to page about winning iPhones, or junk like that. I don't know how to stop that. I uninstalled the live wallpaper but I still keep getting them.
I've looked for the option to cancel but can't find it anywhere.

Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks

I have the same issue going on and will try that ... but does anyone know where its come from?? is is something fraudulent hidden in an app I downloaded from the market???????????
