So now that the GPE edition of this is available (and the V510 is not an LTE or Nexus 8) who is going to jump on it?

LG announces Google Play edition G Pad 8.3 | Android Central

I think this might partially explain the **** poor advertising in North America (still cannot even buy it on Amazon which is odd)?? Either way hope this helps boost development for the G pad, what is every ones thoughts, advantages, disadvantages, etc?

I hope it is exactly the same size as the 500. Maybe more cases will start showing up.

It is exactly the same specs and dimensions, I read over on XDA that the touch panel is different however still functions the same so not sure why that is.

same hardware (dim screen and blue line) means I'll stick with my Nexus 7. Maybe I'll consider a change if it turns out they updated the lcd panel or something but I doubt it's any different than a standard G Pad.

This is awesome. I really like the 8 inch form factor for tablets. My moms Note 8.0 is perfect sans poor resolution. This 8.3 seems great. Are there any good cases for it?

Just put my order in for a GPE to replace my current G Pad. At least this way I'll be sure to get regular updates.

The blue line is a defect, not all have it, mine has no blue line, my wifes has no blue line, and my brothers has no blue line, as for it being dim... yeah you do have to have the brightness up over 50% but screen wise it still great, you talk like its just the way it is..... every electronic has failures, its an expected failure rate

Anyone know if this will support Q pair? If so I would definitely get this.
