I have an LG G Pad. I hadn't used it in a few months, and I decided to take it out again. I used to use it a lot more.
But anyway, since the last time I used it, I have moved and am on a different wifi. When I went to turn it back on, it said "firmware update in progress" and had a progress bar at 0 for a few times. I'd never seen this before. But I guess it's normal.
I tried restarting it. Okay, I get it, you need to update, but how are you supposed to do that without internet? It's not connected to the internet. It won't let me log in and connect it.
I'm I just going to be stuck on this screen forever?
It did take me to the log in a couple of times, but immediately restarted itself and went back to the update screen.
I am very frustrated. It's plugged in now but has been at 0 for a while. Is there anything I can do to make my tablet usable again?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you show a picture of that screen? http://forums.androidcentral.com/gen...d-central.html. It might be a "Download Mode," which is intended for download of a firmware file via USB connection from a PC. Sometimes, if there's a firmware or hardware glitch, a device can boot into Download Mode. Or it could be a button problem, since the button sequence to get into Download Mode is usually something like pressing and holding Power and Vol Down together during the boot process.
