So I made myself a new watch face over the weekend and in dim mode it shows a large digital clock so I can read it without my glasses. I had it in always on mode for a couple days. Today I was showing the watch to someone and they wanted to see a different watch face that was white. When that went into dim mode, I could see the digital display.

My question is will this eventually fade away? I've turned the always on mode off for now. BTW, the digital face below is a lot dimmer than it looks in the picture.

It should as long as you keep something moving. The more the display shows, the more rapidly the 'ghost' image fades away. If you have an animated watchface that could help, or just swipe through menus for a while.

Interestingly, the burned in part only shows when the white face in dimmed. I guess the brightness of the screen washed it out.

What causes burn is the unequal waring of the pixels. On normal android, you can go into accessibility and invert the screen. This will cause the exact opposite pixels light up and by leaving it on like that for a while it will wear the other pixels to be equal with the others.

There's an app for dead pixels on play store-looks like a screen burn app I've seen before-it's free so seems like it would be worth a shot for ya
