I got my update last night. US- Georgia. I restarted the watch a few times just in case. Pushing the buttons to access the apps takes a little getting used to but, so far so good. I really like the keyboard for replying to messages.

This was indeed the full Android Wear 2.0 update. The 1.X Wear versions are based on MM (Android 6) and lower.

The G-Watch R got a security the day that 2.0 was officially announced. This past week, 2.0 was pushed down to the -R, and it's really nice on this old tank of a watch.

I got the Wear 2.0 update on my Watch R too. I experienced terrible battery life on the first day, I guess everything was updating. After the first day everything settled down and my battery life is back to near normal. Maybe a couple of percentage points less than what I had before but no big deal.

Given the age of this watch, I'm pleased with the update. Surprised that this watch even got the update. Thank you LG!
