Difference between carrier versions

Hello guys,

Iam Fabian from Germany.

I am really interested in the G2 and will buy it soon - no release day until now

Can some1 tell me why the buttons on the VWZ Edition are made of Aluminium instead of plastic , than on the other editions?

There are subtle software and hardware differences. I think it's just Verizon wanting to differentiate themselves like they normally do.

Personally I'd rather have the bigger buttons, but getting used to the ones in my Verizon version.

The buttons are plastic. They are just colored like aluminum. But they are definitely plastic.

I prefer the international buttons because of their size too.

The biggest other difference is the Verizon version has a wireless charging back built in.
