Mobile Data turns on automatically

Hi, hope someone can help. I normally leave my day data turned off and only turn it on when needed. Otherwise it's on wifi. For the past few weeks I have been noticing that after I leave the house the Mobile Data is tuned on and I didn't set it. Then when I come back home it is turned off again. It didn't used to do this and I am trying to find a setting to change this to a manual setting rather than automatically. Anyone have anything on this? Thanks very much!

I'm facing the same problem with my note 3 . I usually turned off my data before sleep but when i wake up , the phone will be totally caous ! Facebook , whatsapp , n all stuff will be online . Is there any solution for this issue ?

Did you disable auto network switch in the advanced wifi settings?

For Samsung S4, go to Settings> Connections> Data Usage then press menu button. Select Restrict Background from the menu. It will stop turning on mobile data automatically.

Trying this now. I am tired of having to enable airplane mode while at work so my phone isn't drawing data all day. Even when I turn data off it turns itself back on...

there is a virus type APN installed in your smartphone. That is responsible for switching mobile data.

I realized their is an App called VPN *a virus that causes this. Just uninstall this app. Got mine solved.

only two solutions first is that reset your phone if after five days your again show this problem then install new software in your android
