Anyone experiencing bad recorded audio?

So yesterday i decided to record something with my camera and after checking back i found the audio to be really weird, it sort of skiped parts with some crackling and pops. I thought, well it was probably my sorroundings. Today i wanted to audio record my math class. I went to the voice recorder and left it recording for over an hour. Same issue, you can hear the proffesor's voice skiping and just bad.
Can anyone try and voice record something and see if the same problem happens.
