Hi,

I have a new LG G2 that I unlocked to use with my carrier. I usually have full signal (all bars) but every maybe 10-20 mins it'll lose signal for like 15 seconds and then go back to full like on the two screenshots, any ideas what could be causing this ?

thanks

Are you using 4G? It was doing that with me so i went into settings and changed to from 4G/3G/2G to 3G/2G and it hasn't done it since.

I'm using the EE network(in the UK where 4G is relatively new) and they're crap, so i'm guessing it's because they're having on one their eternal mast problems.

erhm, I'm sorry guys, I really don't know anything about cellular networks. I'm on a very basic plan, call + texts only, no data. Is it possible to try and switch from 4g to something else ? I'm guessing it would be in here ?

thanks for your replies !

I also occasionally get this on 4G. But i'm on O2.
I'm guessing it's because there is lots of restructuring going on with all the networks. They are all putting up 4G masts like a madman in their rush to compete, so there's bnound to be a ton of problems for the next year or so

cpaqf1, LTE is another name for 4G. Switch it to "GSM/HSPA auto" and then see how it goes on.
Are you in the UK?
