My G2 battery is not as expected

3 days ago I bought a lg g2 device and expected that the battery will last atleast 24 hours after full charge.
but it didn't, not at the first charge and nither at the second charge.
I tried all sorts of app and setting that will enhance the battery lasting time, but it didnt help significantly,
atleast not as I saw at others devices.(50-40 hours of usage with one charge).
What is wrong with my device????

There may not be anything wrong with your G2. 50 hrs of battery life only happens when phone isn't heavily used. It should still get you through the day with heavy use. You should check the screen on time to see if battery life is abnormal. Normal screen on time is 6-7 hrs.

My battery lasting 14 hours with 3-4 screen time hours

OK that's not good. Some have had an issue with location services draining the battery. Wakelock detector will show if certain apps keep the phone awake even when not used.

Having similar issues as well. I am loving my G2 but the battery life is nowhere near what people are raving about. I have been using it for a week and the battery life is around 8 hours ish max, with 3 hours screen on time.

Can we please not have another battery life thread? There's too many already that have excellent information. Do some searching.

i think some specific apps will drain your battery faster. for example, i can never get more than ~24 hrs with about 3 hrs screen time. but i also have Facebook app, WhatsApp, facebook messenger, etc. all running, and I believe those types of apps will cause your battery to drain more quickly.

yea mine isn't that great either. it's still better than my old phone but not what I think it should be getting.

Screen is at 49%. Only widget is weather app. Just Gmail sync. Using Firefox for browser.

I am honstaly cant figure out what is the problem, last night my battry drained by 10%, call me stupid but I cant find an helpful answar from post #9.
I really need your help, anybody, just give me a solution.
