Lg g2 turns itself on every few minutes. cant find app thats doing it?

I have Facebook, yahoo and a few simple apps on my phone just wondering if it is normal that it turns its screen on and even makes short water drop noise but not full noise every few times it opens. It drains my battery because it literally lights right up for a second when I'm not touching it. Didn't do this at first. Considering a reset, but don't want to lose some stuff. New at androids
