Anyone figure out how to root after the update? I can't find a good tutorial for this specific phone without people saying "ioroot 25" even though it doesn't work. There is no help anywhere else so I was hoping someone here had an actual working method. For kit kat G2 on Verizon of course.

Go back to original stock lg firmware using lg flash tool. There's a thread on xda developers. Then root using ioroot, get TWRP and flash a KitKat ROM.
