Why isn't my LG G2 able to connect to Google Services?

LG G2 Unable to Connect to Google Services

Hi
Recently, when I open the Google Play Store, it says 'no connection' and tells me to retry. I also noticed that when I used google search it said 'sign-in error'. I have checked my date and time, deleted Freedom, deleted the cache of the Play Store, and uninstalled all the updates. I also signed out of my Google account, but now I can't sign back in again - it says connection error, please try again later, even though I was right next to my wifi router. Anyone got any suggestions please, before I reset my phone to factory settings.....

Welcome to Android Central! I've been seeing this mentioned more frequently lately, and I'm not sure why. Does it occur on any wi-fi network, or only your home network? Are you able to connect to mobile data?

Happened to me today and drove me crazy. I could connect to the internet and play store with my laptops but not my phone.

Rebooting my router seems to have fixed the issue for me.
