    Right after the kit-kat upgrade my bluetooth connectivity to my car was broken.
    So it does pair with the car, but is not able to download address book, so have no way to call contacts other than actually having to dial the number.
    Hoping someone has an answer to my issue

    Welcome to Android Central! I noticed something similar with my 2008 BMW 535i. Open your Contacts app, tap Menu, then Contacts to Display. Instead of selecting All Contacts, select Customize, and then choose all of your contacts there (usually My Contacts will do the trick). Kind of a silly bug, but that worked for me.
