How can I get my LG G2 to show the clock as the screen saver when on the Media Dock?

LG G2 Media Dock issue

When I used to plug the LG G2 into the Media dock at night time, it used to show the clock as the screensaver and would charge the phone..After the upgrade to Lollipop, my screen just stays blank but does charge the phone. I checked in the accessory setting but I don't see any options for clock anymore other than for connecting to the Car Home screen.. Anyone else having the same problem?

Got the same thing too hoping this isn't a software issue and hope someone found a fix.

Might have found a minor fix? did you try turning on "Day Dream" mode in the Settings-->Display? only bad thing is that it doesn't automatically landscape the phone
