Power button light blinks continuously

Hi,

Even before I installed Lolipop on my unrooted G2, the LED light on the front of the device often, but not always, blinked red rapidly and for no apparent reason when the screen was not active (it always stopped blinking when I activated the screen). Since I installed Lolipop, the LED light still blinks rapidly at times when the screen is not on, but now also the power button on the back of the device blinks (white) constantly when the screen is not active and stops when the screen is on.

I have rebooted the phone and disabled the LightFlow (free version) app, but have not tried other troubleshooting because I have no idea what might be causing this. Any ideas?

Charge the phone for 24 hours. See if that helps (with the charger still plugged in). If it does, the battery is probably gone.
