I can hear calls/voicemail through phone speakers but no other audio - headphones are ok

Just started happening in the last day or so. I often have my ringer turned off so I think it took a while for me to notice it was happening.

- cannot hear any ringtones or notification sounds at all: when receiving a call or trying to preview a ringtone/alert from the settings: nothing
- cannot hear audio from any apps including games or youtube
- I CAN hear people who call me and voicemails though
- EVERYTHING works through the headphones.

I would suspect that this is a headphone jack issue but then I'd assume I'd either hear everything or nothing.

This is a replacement G2 that I've had for a week or so. I assume it's refurbished? Making me crazy. I've had a string of replacement G2's that have had issues.

Welcome to Android Central! You're saying that you can hear people on speakerphone, but you can't hear any other media through the main speaker, correct? Are you certain the Ringtone and Media volumes are turned up? Go to Settings>Sound>Volume, ​and see what they're set to.
