All that inside information and you were wrong when you said the G3 would be the Isai FL? http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g3/384993-lg-g3-spotted.html#post3611321

I have inside information... It will have 3gb ram, 805 processor, 2k screen, ext SD card support up to 128gb, 3300mah battery, wireless charging, ultraviolet sensor for lowlight pics.

PS. My inside info is very reliable... Unless dreams aren't.? Oh yea, in my dream the volume buttons have speaker grills.

Wrong, my inside information says it will have an Apple A7, 16GB RAM, and a 4.12-inch 4K display

What are you talking about? An iPhone? A 4.12" display on the G3? No freaking way. Try > 5"

Ahhhh marketing. They are both always listed in all caps. Never mind the problem immediately seen. Worse than the same acronym, their base for HD is also different. We all know the nonsense of HD 720p vs HD 1080i vs FHD 1080p already. So now it goes:

QHD 960x540p
HD 1280x720p
HD 1920x1080i
FHD 1920x1080p
QHD 2560x1440p
UHD 3840x2160p
4K 4000x2000p

And etc etc etc....the acronym guys need to all be kicked out and taught how to count.

I always see the lower resolution listed as qHD, with the lowercase letter to distinguish it. Sadly a lot of people don't know this, just like MB vs Mb....
And UHD=4K 😛

I think that the 3840x2160p UHD is considered 4K.

Hope you enjoy your new Xperia Z2 as the G2 will only have 2GB of ram

I highly doubt that considering 9 out of 10 sources tell a different story; one with 3GB... And you may want to back your garbage up with links to prove an assertion, not assumption...

Folks just to drop something in here...

Love the discussion and please continue to do so but lets not resort to any mud slinging and taking things to a direct/personal level. Just ruins it for everyone what could otherwise be an enjoyable debate/discussion.

Have fun! Carry on.

Hahah no seriously. If you search for 'QHD' you will see a bunch of 540x960 phones listed with the acronym in all caps. Seller error or not, it muddies the term. Considering how many of my clients thought they were using The Google to load Foxfire which was their internet provider.....it makes me want to go back to sticks and rocks.

And if you were in a Flex forum you'd see the posts of people wondering when we would get an update that puts a 4K option above the UHD option. It could even happen as there is not a 100% consensus whether it even should be....QFHD/UHD or the wider format 4K/2K to be true 4K. It's a mess!

I am excited for the G3 but the screen speculation is kinda out there.

I am a nerd.. Have been all my life but I guess not about RAM. My gaming PCs get 8 GB... Phone is whatever. Android manages it so well I honestly never notice..

Honestly I don't really follow any rumors... So many times things change. Personally I would just wait for the official announcement.

1080p (1920x1080) qualifies as 2K. UHD is 3840x2160, or double that of 1080p. Double 2K and you get 4K, so yes, UHD qualifies as 4K. It doesn't need to have exactly 4xxx by 2xxx.

But this would require living in a world that makes sense :/ I agree with your logic but a lot of money is being spent to lobby that definition into a corner which backs only one rez for the standard. Also the G3 screen being constantly called 2K....what. It's more like a '+' panel or something.

Of course if 1080p was 2M and whatever you accept as 4K was 8M, people would be arguing whether the 3.686mpix screen of rumor qualified as '4M capable'.

I just realized. With such a high rez panel you can probably expect the front webcam to have a high rez also?

If it comes with 3gb of RAM, I'll strongly consider it. Otherwise, doesn't make sense for me considering I already have that amount in my gs3. So I'd just wait for the note 4 in that case

I'd venture to say with the size and resolution of this screen that it will have 3gb of RAM. Just a hunch though. No factual reasoning behind it.
