Why even waist time with making one with the 801 chip I ask...and release at the same time. If true I bet it's for very select markets

Agree. From what I understand no LTE on chip, so I don't see it coming to the US. But who knows.

Thinking it may be for Korea and other select markets.
Just a hunch.
If it comes here, cool.
If not, oh well.

What a difference a year makes. I don't get the rush, we only had one variant of the M7, S4 and G2. Not even a month and we're getting rumours of "Prime" versions?

I guess I shouldn't care when I just sold my a month old Sony XPERIA Z2. LOL

There was a s4 put out in Korea that had a snapdragon 800 also ... so like a s4 prime .... But these phones will not make the us carriers .... When they sell g3 at 199 and 250 for different versions to think with 805 they would have to charge 300 or more and then you have 3 versions of the phone to worry about problems and updates etc ...

The new iPhones though make this year different. What we have here is a marketshare battle that is fought with fire power. Android camp needs more effective weapons for later this year.
