Like the S5 Prime, it is doubtful that it will come to the States.
Just my $.02 and humble opinion. :)

Nope. If you always wait there is going to be something better. The only real thing that would make me wait is if the rumored device had a much larger battery while keeping the same size of the device (like 3500+ mah)
I think the idea is supposed to be the same size with a bump in chipset to 805. I could only imagine that a larger battery would accompany the beefier specs. Who knows.

It is annoying but as I said with the way I upgrade I have no problem selling the G3 and buy the Prime.

Were it not for the new A8 chipped larger display iPhones, I would agree. This seems different so would not be surprised to see a Prime G3 and S5 in the states and Europe.

2014 will be a big marketshare battle.

I am going to choose between the S5 Active and the G3 but if the G3 Prime comes out before August I would be willing to wait. The G3 display paired with the 801 chipset could prove problematic, I would much rather have the 805.

If no 3/32 version from Verizon, I will wait by default. This of course assumes the Prime is offered in a 32gb version.... I would keep waiting and continue using my one year old, but 32gb S4.

Nope, I'm waiting for the G3 prime delta force max. Snapdragon 9000, 9" screen, 6000mah battery, unobtainium construction....

This phenomenon already existed but without the catchy "prime" terminology suddenly applied to it.
Every phone ever made has a successor, or "the next big thing", or now "prime" as it's being called. The only difference is that the manufacturers are coming out with the newer version much quicker. They could have just as easily called the LG G3 Prime the G4 or the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime the S6........Just remember that the moment you buy technology it is out of date, the manufacturer already has it's successor in the works.
I'm just curious what word they will use after they wear "prime" out......

I feel like this is going to be the new norm everytime a phone comes out. G5 prime, m8 prime, G3 prime, Iphone 6 prime etc etc

I talked today at the g3 premiere in Poland with LG representative and he told me that the snapdragon in g3 is just a rumor and even the Qualcomm has still problems with that chip for mobile phones. So nowhere near future at least.
