Qi charging getting phone hot?

I received my Qi back yesterday and it works fine. I put the phone on to charge after after a while had picked it up to use it and found it to be very warm, almost hot. I have it in a Seidio case. I'm using the LG round Qi charger which I used on my G2. My G2 was also in a case and I don't remember it getting this warm.

Anyone else experiencing this?
