1440p Video Quality on YouTube

YouTube now plays 1440p videos on the LG G3

I just tried playing one of these videos and did not get the option for 1440 resolution. I am pretty sure I have the latest version of the app, too.

Max Mad trailer at 1440p at full brightness... looks nice don't see what the criticisms are on the screen

Just watched this trailer side by side with co-workers Note 3 and bumped his up to 1080p.... and... WOW!!!... couldnt really tell a difference lol.

But we both kept on looking side by side and the brightness and colors on both were so close... but if you had to give the ever so slightest edge on detail and color we gave it to the G3.

I will wait for the Store to update I guess. Slow store, lol.

Yeah, figured it was going to look similar. Video always does. Even 720p looks nice, but noticeable. The only time i notice is with still images. 1080p vs 1440p

1440 video looks pretty awesome. I must have been lucky because my screen has always been awesome without any compression. Search for 1440p video and there is one from china with a woman in a restaurant with close ups of food. It's incredible.
