I keep various records on my phone...

Now I've upgraded to the LG G3 (D855) I want to copy over some info from my old phone (BlackBerry 9700), but when I've emailed the info to myself, I can't find a way to copy the text in the email to paste into a memo.

Any suggestions please?

I can't see how to post a reply to the helpful hints I've been given, but just wanted to say thank you to Frope - I was tapping and wondering why the blue brackets didn't appear... got a lot to learn!!

I have the 851, and I was able to Gmail to my Outlook app, and I was able to cut and paste to Quick Memo

T-Mobile G3

This is how I do it: (sample pics included)
Long press anywhere on the body of your email until you see the blue brackets.

Then you can drag the brackets to include certain text or tap the icon at the top that is a dotted square with four small squares inside (that's select all). The entire message will show blue highlight.

Tap the next icon which looks like a page offset from another (that's cut). It then goes into your clip tray or you can paste it directly. If you choose the clip tray you'll see the grey circle with the left arrow inside which allows access to your stored clips.

Then go to your note app and long press on a blank note. The option will pop up to paste or clip tray.

Tap paste and you're done. Or you could tap clip tray and see what you have stored.

Hope this helped.

Sent from Frope's sweet G3.

(Thank you Frope that was instructive for me as well.☺)
