    Hi,

This maybe a very very stupid question, but please bear with me.

I bought a second hand G3 yesterday. Interestingly, for some odd reason I can connect to the wifi at my home and my office, without having to enter a password. And I know its not my network data since I removed my Sim card and checked again.

Is my phone possessed? I have a nexus 5 as well, and had to always enter a password for it.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you connecting via one-touch WPS? Do you have Comcast, and by chance is the phone connecting to the public Xfinity network that is broadcast by all Comcast routers?

    Hi, thanks for the welcome

I am not sure whether my router uses one-touch WPS.

However, the interesting thing is that when I open the wifi tab in the phone..it shows the phone connected to the correct SSID. For example at home, it connects to my wifi..but not to my neighbours. I am assuming this is because my router has the strongest signal.

But never the less, this is very strange behaviour.

Also I forgot to mention that I am using the Korean version LG F400K, and I am currently in Hong Kong.
