I seem to remember someone noticing this long long ago, probably on this forum. It's presumably an error. The last time I counted, I had 538ppi.

Screen density and resolution are two different things.

No problem... Yeah, it's a little confusing. But the screen density is related to your resolution (and physical screen size)... It's basically the scaling factor for the display.
If you lower your screen density, everything shrinks, icons, text, etc. It's set, system wide, by a value in the build.prop file, but some utilities can do it by a app by app basis.

That's the stock value. Perfectly normal
Ok thanks for that. I understand that dpi and ppi mean 2 things but not 100% what dpi translates to
