I got a LG G3 a few weeks ago off amazon, it is the D855 (International factory unlocked) European version. Before buying it, I did my research and saw that it is capable of picking up BAND 17 (700mhz) LTE which is one of the frequencies that AT&T uses. When I got my phone, I changed my APN settings and I only get HSPA. I have gone into the hidden menu and set it up for BAND 17 but nothing works. Is there a way to get 4G LTE on Straight Talk (which sim card I have uses AT&T towers).

Which band a carrier is using depends on the tower you're on. An AT&T phone can use ALL the AT&T LTE frequencies. If you're in an area where they're using a different band, you won't get LTE. (They don't use every band they have on every tower in the country - it's regional.)
