Why don't I have an USB options since 5.0 update?

No USB options since 5.0 Update

I've had an LG G3 (D855) for a while now. I've updated to Android 5.0 and suddenly I can no longer transfer files between the Phone and both my computers (Win7 PC + MacBook Pro). The options for USB file transfers are just outright missing. Its not listed under storage and tapping on the "charging" notification does nothing.

How can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! When you swipe down your notification panel, what happens when you tap on the USB connection notification? Or do you not even see it? Is that what you mean by tapping on the "charging" notification?

Its no longer a USB connection notification, it just says the phone is charging (or charging slowly depending on the cable in use) and nothing more. Tapping on it does nothing.

Go to Settings>Storage, and tap the Menu button. Do you get a "USB computer connection" option?

No, there is no menu let alone an option.

Are you using the original cable? If you're using some 3rd party cable, try the original one.

Tried original and 3rd party. I've got nothing.
